"There is no true expertise in the humanities without knowing all of the humanities. Art is a vast, ancient interconnected web-work, a fabricated tradition. Over-concentration on any one point is a distortion."
-Camille Paglia (b. 1947), U.S. author, critic, educator. Welcome to Mr. Fannon's Humanities page. Humanities in its broadest sense is a study of the arts. The Humanities focus on things created by human beings. We will focus on literature from England in the Fall, and Africa and Asia in the Spring. We will study great artists, musicians, and filmmakers. On this page you can find the course orientation, daily agenda, homework, and other helpful links. |
